LA CORUNA RUINS (2008 update)

There's a restaurant, an espherical elevator, a 360º viewpoint dome, a small museum, wc, a large carpark and the remains of the base.

Hay un restaurante, un elevador esférico, una cúpula mirador de 360º, un pequeño museo, wc, un amplio parking y los restos de la base.

Converted into a park. No ruins left.

Actualmente convertido en parque. Ya no quedan ruinas.

Converted into a park & open air (vandalised) museum.

Convertido en parque y museo (vandalizado) al aire libre.

The ruins are actually out of the new port expansion plans.

Las ruinas se encuentran actualmente fuera de los planes de expansión del puerto exterior.

Still abandoned and distant.

Aún abandonado y distante.

ARSENAL CULLEREDO

The main buildings in ruins. The towers are long gone. The site is actually chained up but access is possible over the fences. A rubbish dump.

Los edificios principales en ruinas. Las torres han desparecido. La verja esta cerrado con cadenas pero el acceso es facil por encima de las vallas caídas.Un vertedero de basura.

FERROL RUINS (2008 update)

In a similar state as in 1999. The tunnel is now open to anybody. The road is suitable for cars.

En un estado similar que en 1999. El túnel se encuentra abierto a cualquiera. La carretera no es apta para turismos.

Igual que siempre.

Sin ningun tipo de cambio.

Much more vandalised. In fact, there's a road that now crosses the base, overrun by cattle and horses. A rubbish dump.

Mucho más vandalizado. De hecho, actualmente hay una carretera que cruza la base, ahora tomado por ganado y caballos salvajes. Un vertedero de basura.

There's plans to recover certain areas but nothing has happen yet.

Hay planes para recuperar parte de esto pero todavía no ha ocurrido nada.

Covered in more vegetation, apart form this it's in a similar state.

Más cubierto de vegetación, aparte de esto esta igual.

Being in the middle of nowhere helps to conserve the place.

Estando en medio de ninguna parte ayuda a conservar el sitio.

DONIÑOS TARGET PRACTICE

It has been ripped done. Hardly any visible remains left.

Se ha demolido. Apenas quedan restos visibles y dignos de menciñon.

Just more grafittis on the walls.

Solamente más grafittis en las paredes.

Abandonado y vandalizado.

Still in active. (I still haven't visited this site yet!)

Aun sigue operaivo. (Aún no he visitado este lugar)

Not much left to see. Things still the same.

No queda mucho para ver. Todo se mantiene igual.

Great location & views. Still in a similar state.

ARSENAL AS GANDARAS

It will be history very soon. The new industrial estate will be located on this area.

Pronto sera historia. Van a situar el nuevo polígono industrial aquí.

SAN CIBRAO BARRACKS

Also condemned to disappear. The new Lugo hospital is just behind this site.

También condenado a desparecer. El nuevo hospital de Lugo se encuentra detrás.

U.S.A. RUINS (2008 update)

Much more vandalised as in 2002. Not much hope to recuperate this. It should be pulled down this year.

Mucho más vandalizado que en 2002. No hay mucha esperanza de recuperar nada de esto. Supuestamente se demolera este año.
